Terms and Conditions

Supreme Sealcoating & Paving proposes to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the work as described in this estimate. By approving this estimate, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any unpaid balances may be subject to late fees, collection costs, and/or legal action.

2. Scope of Work & Pricing

This proposal is based on visible site conditions at the time of inspection. Any unforeseen conditions, including but not limited to additional repairs, unsuitable base, hidden damage, or site complications, may result in additional costs and will be addressed through a change order.

3. Sealcoating Limitations

Sealcoating is a preventative maintenance application designed to protect and extend the life of asphalt surfaces.

Supreme Sealcoating & Paving is not responsible for:

Damage caused by snow plows, snow blowers, shovels, or metal blades
Tire scuffing, turning marks, or heavy traffic wear
Oil, gas, chemical, or fluid stains
Abnormal, premature, or excessive wear after application

4. Sealcoat Adhesion Disclaimer

While proper preparation and application procedures are followed, adhesion is dependent on the condition of the existing surface.

In the event of adhesion failure, we will reapply affected areas; however, a minimum $100 labor/service charge may apply.

5. Crack Filling

Crack filling is a preventative service and is not guaranteed. Cracks may reopen due to ground movement, weather conditions, or underlying pavement issues.

6. Asphalt Paving & Patchwork

All paving and patchwork work is performed in accordance with standard industry practices. The longevity and performance of asphalt is dependent on the condition of the existing base, subgrade, and drainage.

Supreme Sealcoating & Paving is not responsible for:

Cracking, settling, or movement caused by unstable or inadequate base
Failures related to existing subgrade conditions
Color or texture variations between new and existing asphalt
Normal wear and tear due to traffic and weather

Patching is intended to address localized failures and may not match surrounding areas in appearance or lifespan.

7. Drainage Disclaimer

Proper drainage is critical to the performance of asphalt surfaces. Unless specifically included in the scope of work, drainage correction is not part of this proposal.

Supreme Sealcoating & Paving is not responsible for:

Standing water or ponding
Water runoff issues
Damage caused by improper or existing drainage conditions

8. Base & Subsurface Conditions

Subsurface and base conditions are not fully visible at the time of estimate. If unstable or unsuitable conditions are discovered during the project, additional work, materials, and costs may be required and will be addressed as a change order.

9. Asphalt Care & Expectations

New asphalt requires proper curing and maintenance. The customer acknowledges:

Asphalt may remain soft for a period after installation
Tire marks, scuffing, and minor impressions may occur, especially in warm temperatures
Heavy objects or sharp turning may cause surface markings

These conditions are normal and not considered defects.

10. Warranty

Workmanship is warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion.

This warranty does not cover:

Snow removal damage
Normal wear and tear
Acts of nature or environmental conditions
Improper use, neglect, or abuse of the surface
Failures related to base, subgrade, or drainage issues

11. Scheduling & Weather

All work is weather dependent. Scheduling may be adjusted as necessary to ensure proper application conditions and material performance.

12. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

Removing all vehicles and obstacles prior to scheduled work

Turning off Irrigation/Sprinkler Systems

Securing Pets
Keeping all traffic off treated surfaces for the recommended curing period
Following all provided aftercare instructions

13. Limitation of Liability

Supreme Sealcoating & Paving shall not be held liable for:

Pre-existing pavement failures
Structural or base deficiencies
Drainage issues
Any damage beyond our control

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Supreme Sealcoating & Paving from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the above conditions.

14. Estimate Validity

This estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued. Pricing may be subject to change after this period.

15. Payment Methods

A 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit and debit card payments. No fee applies to payments made by cash, check, or ACH bank transfer.
